Randers Sportsklub Freja (often abbreviated Randers Freja) is a Danish multi-sport club fielding teams in athletics, handball, table tennis and football.

History

Randers Freja was founded in 1898, and was accepted to JBU in 1907.[1]

The football department went by the name Randers Freja FC in a period during late 1990s. In 2003, the department merged with five other local football clubs and formed Randers FC. The club's football department still exist, but is now considered the reserve team for Randers FC.

In 2003 the club went into a merger, and is one of the 6 founding clubs to Randers FC.[2]

The handball department became part of Randers HK in 1996.

Colours

Randers Freja's colour is light blue as Randers FC's reserves, however original club colours are white and blue.

Randers Freja plays their home matches on Essex Park Randers.
